Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel was a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He was also the Chairperson of the rule-drafting committee of the house along with the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee of the House. He has been practicing as a lawyer for the past 20 years and he was a chairperson of the Nepal bar association. Similarly, he has volunteered in many national as well as international non-governmental organizations. He has also been actively involved in the field of humanitarian and has worked towards the betterment of child and women’s rights.
