Internet Governance Institute organized a capacity building workshop on 13th Feb, Internet Society Nepal Chapter, Nepal Internet Foundation, Nepal Internet Exchange and Information Security Response Team Nepal supported the event as co-organizers. Patan College For Professional Studies provided the venue for the workshop.
This workshop was chaired by Mr. Manohar Kumar Bhattrai, Chair of Internet Governance Institute, Mr. Bikram Shrestha provided updates about the progress of APrIGF2020. APrIGF 2020 PC co-chair Vivek Rana presented about the basic structure of APrIGF 2020 Session formats. Mr. Babu Ram Aryal (Director/CEO of IGI) highlighted about the detailed process and requirements for the successful APrIGF 2020 session and workshop proposals. He explained the tips in the selection of topics as well as speakers. Afterward, Ms. Amrita Chaodhary From CCAOI India also shared about the best practices, approaching the speakers from different countries. She also provided other tips while preparing a workshop proposal for a regional conference. Mr. Chiranjivi Adhikari from Npcert Moderated the workshop.
